A bleached, weathered canvas of ancient branches reaches out from the powdery sands, a striking testament to the relentless, gentle power of the tides. Toppled by a past storm, the fallen giant rests half-submerged in the impossibly clear, glass-like shallows of the lagoon, its smooth, pale wood casting crisp shadows onto the rippled sandy bottom below. Along the sweeping curve of the coast, dense tropical rainforest pushes right up to the water's edge, while a brilliant towering cumulonimbus cloud anchors the vast blue horizon.
