Coral Crowns on Knotted Wood

Stepping into a secluded, fog-veiled orchard just as the morning chill began to lift, my lens found a brilliant cluster of coral-red blossoms erupting from a rugged, ice-slicked branch. The multi-layered petals sweep outward like delicate, silk fans, cradling an intense inner crown of golden-tipped filaments that reach eagerly toward the diffused daylight. The contrast is arresting—the soft, pristine warmth of the opening flowers stands out in sharp defiance against the dark, craggy, and weather-beaten wood of the tree, capturing a quiet, enduring moment of spring's arrival.
