Where Cold Waters Rush

A tumbling, tea-colored river carves its relentless path through a deep wilderness valley, flanked by steep slopes of ancient, mist-enshrouded rainforest. In the foreground, an armada of large, smooth river cobblestones sits anchored in the glassy, slower-moving shallows, their rounded surfaces wet with morning dew. The main current surges past them in a chaotic rush of whitewater and dark ripples, reflecting the moody, overcast sky hanging low over the canopy.
