**The vaulted architecture of this lacustrine sea cave system** highlights a profound history of hydraulic erosion and mechanical weathering along the late Precambrian sandstone strata. Over thousands of years, continuous wave action and the intense freeze-thaw cycles of winter lake ice have systematically exploited vertical joints and bedding planes, hollowing out deep, intersecting caverns and tunnels. The thick rock ceilings shield the interior channels from direct sunlight, creating a cooler microclimate that contrasts sharply with the exposed outer cliffs. This enclosed geometry filters the incoming daylight, scattering it across the exceptionally clear, turquoise littoral waters to project shimmering green and golden illumination onto the heavily textured, damp cavern walls.
